Winter Camp and Canton Cup

For everyone that took the survey, THANK YOU. I am working through every response and have already
come across several great ideas to work with and make improvements to the club. Thanks for your
feedback. Below is the information for the SCOR Winter Camp and Canton Cup.

SCOR Winter Camp
Below is the schedule for the SCOR Winter Camp located at East Rockford Middle School Basketball
Gyms. Please look closely at the dates. Also remember, this camp is FREE and is covered as part of your
player fees.
  • All SELECT Boys attend training on Saturdays
  • All SELECT Girls attend training on Sundays.
  • PREMIER teams train on Sundays.
Please take note of the following for what to bring:
  • Bring the shoes you are training in separately. With wet or snowy surfaces, we will reduce water on the courts and risking injury by having our player change into their training/soccer/tennis shoes when arriving.
  • Must have shin guards, ball, and FLAT shoes (no cleats - we train on the basketball court)
  • Water Bottle
CANCELLATION POLICY: Any posted school or school activity closings will cancel training for that specific
day. If training is cancelled on Saturday, it is NOT cancelled for Sunday unless school activities are
cancelled for that day also. SCOR reserves the right to cancel training for inclement weather even if
school does not cancel activities. With any questions, your best bet is to check the SCOR Website, email,
Facebook, or Twitter for updates.

SATURDAYS
January 14th, 21st, & 28th, February 4th, 11th, 18th, & 25th
BOYS U8, U9, & U10 - 1:30pm - 3:30pm
BOYS U11 & U12 - 3:30pm - 5:30pm
BOYS U13, U14, U15, U16 - 5:30pm - 7:30pm

SUNDAYS
January 15th, 22nd, 29th, February 5th, 12th, 19th, & 26th
GIRLS U8, U9, & U10 - 1:30pm - 3:30pm
GIRLS U11, U12, &U13 - 3:30pm - 5:30pm
PREMIER U13 Boys - 5:30pm - 7:30pm
PREMIER U14 Girls - 5:30pm - 7:30pm
PREMIER U18 BOYS - 7:30pm - 9:30pm

Canton Cup
SCOR will be returning to the Canton Cup for the 2012 Spring Tournament. Considering the changes they
are making for the coming year and the balance of competition SCOR has decided to return to Canton
in 2012. Look for an email within the week for team managers to register their teams and arrange for
hotels. SCOR is attempting to block as many rooms as possible in a single or adjoining hotels to have as much of the club in one location as we can. The weekend for the spring tournament is May 25, 26, & 27.
